Mainely Moose ®
Price: $950 Deposit: $300
Limit: 4
Do you conjure up images of Rocky and Bullwinkle whenever someone mentions a moose? Did you know that moose are actually members of the deer family, along with giraffe? Join us and fall in love with these magnificent creatures as we photograph them at their home in Baxter State Park in northern Maine. Experience the magic of bull moose feeding in Sandy Stream Pond at sunrise with blazing fall colors as your backdrop. Timed to coincide with peak fall colors and the end of the rut, or mating season, bulls will be venturing into open areas and presenting themselves as stunning photographic subjects--their antlers polished and in prime condition. Cows and their calves, now approaching their first winter of life, will add to the show. Fall is unique in New England. The combination of trees creates a color palette like none other in the world. Participants will capture not only these beautiful animals, but some of the most vivid fall colors ever witnessed. Baxter is a special place, a
gift from a former Governor of Maine to the people of the state. The park
encompasses over 200,000 acres and Katahdin, the northern terminus of the
Appalachian Trail. Photograph its Magnificent Inhabitant THE MAINE MOOSE
